Roundtable Luncheon - Public Confidence in the Energy Sector
Grant Sprague received his LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 1989. He practiced law at an established Edmonton law firm in the area of foreclosures, insolvency and general litigation. Sprague joined the Alberta Public Service in 1997 and was the Former Assistant Deputy Minister responsible for the Legal Services Division of Alberta Justice. He led the Environmental Law section of Alberta Justice, providing advice on a wide range of natural resources and environmental law issues. Sprague also served as Deputy Chief of the Policy Coordination Office in Executive Council until July 2013. He led a team supporting long-term strategic planning and policy coordination, the regulatory review process, and coordination for the policy excellence initiative.
