April 30, 2015 – The C.D. Howe Institute congratulates Research Fellow Michael J. Trebilcock for winning this year’s $50,000 Donner Prize! The annual award is given to the best public policy book written by a Canadian. Dr. Trebilcock was awarded the prize for Dealing With Losers: The Political Economy of Policy Transitions, published by Oxford University Press. The Institute also congratulates Research Fellow Marcel Boyer whose book Reinventer le Quebec: Douze chantiers a entreprendre, co-authored with Nathalie Elgrably-Levy, was shortlisted for this year’s prize.
