June 6, 2016 – William Robson, President and CEO of the C.D. Howe Institute, announces the appointment of Susan M. Hutton, Partner at Stikeman Elliott, to the Competition Policy Council.

“Susan is a leading expert in the areas of competition and foreign investment,” stated Robson. “Her legal brilliance will benefit the Council greatly.”

The Competition Policy Council comprises top-ranked academics and practitioners active in competition policy. It provides expert, independent analysis of emerging competition policy issues, including those potentially faced by the Competition Bureau.

The Council’s most recent report is entitled “A New Competition Act for a New Federal Government.”
