May 22, 2020 – The C.D. Howe Institute is pleased to announce that the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) will provide six paid internships at the C.D. Howe Institute for the summer of 2020.

IMCO will support internships for outstanding recent graduates of policy and economic programs to obtain experience while having a unique opportunity to inform debates over economic and social policy work in Canada. This opportunity will allow the selected graduates to work with, and be mentored by, the C.D. Howe Institute’s research team and will result in timely policy research projects.

The COVID-19 pandemic is creating a challenging environment for graduating university students in Ontario and at a time when policy leaders have an unprecedented need for quality policy analysis and evidence-based recommendations. IMCO’s internship program with the C.D. Howe Institute is an important partnership in these challenging times.
