April 9, 2025 – The C.D. Howe Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of Ed Devlin to the Institute’s National Council.
A Senior Fellow with the C.D. Howe Institute since 2021, Ed is an experienced capital markets executive, and the founder and lead portfolio manager of Devlin Capital.
He previously co-founded PIMCO Canada, where he served in senior roles for close to 15 years. He has also worked in fixed income positions at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch in London, Tokyo, Toronto, Hong Kong and New York.
The C.D. Howe Institute’s National Council is a distinguished group of Canadian business leaders, academics, former public officials, and other experts. It advises the Institute’s research program and provides insights to support the quality and relevance of the Institute’s publications and events.
