Monique Jérôme-Forget is a Special Advisor in the Osler Montréal office and a Special Advisor for Korn/Ferry International (an executive recruiting firm). She also serves as an invited fellow at CIRANO (an interuniversity research, knowledge transfer and liaison centre on analysis on organizations), where she actively participates in an economic research on the upcoming challenges of addressing shortages of skilled workers in order to ensure future economic development. In 2010, she was appointed by the Minister of Finance of the Federal Government, Mr. James (Jim) Flaherty, to the Economic Advisory Council which is made up of eleven high profile members from across Canada.

She was a Member of the National Assembly from 1998 until April 2009 and served as Minister of Finance, Minister of Government Services, President of the Treasury Board and Minister responsible for government services. In addition, she has been a Vice Rector at Concordia University, Assistant Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare Canada, President and CEO of the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail and Chair of its related research institute.

She has been active with a number of community, cultural, medical and educational organizations for several years and has also been President of the Institute for Research on Public Policy as well as a columnist for The Financial Post and Les Affaires.
