July 24, 2019 – William Robson, President and CEO of the C.D. Howe Institute, announces the appointment of Jamison Steeve as a Senior Fellow.

“Jamison’s experience in policy analysis and policymaking give him theoretical and practical insights into issues such as competitiveness and social policy,” said Robson. “We look forward to his contributions to the C.D. Howe Institute’s work.”

Over a 15-year career in public policy, Steeve has served as an Executive Director of both the Martin Prosperity Institute and the Institute for Competitiveness and Prosperity, two of Canada’s leading think tanks.

Steeve worked with top minds like Roger Martin and Richard Florida, as well as developing policy content of his own in areas such as innovation, competitiveness, social policy and institutional health. Through partnerships, informative and imaginative content, as well as outstanding public events, Steeve made the MPI and ICP important players in the public policy space.

Prior to his work at MPI and ICP, Steeve was Principal Secretary to Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty.

Steeve holds a B.A. (Honours) and a B.Ed from Queen’s, an LLB from Dalhousie and he is a graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
