The C.D. Howe Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of Philip Cross, until recently the Chief Economic Analyst at Statistics Canada, as a Senior Fellow, focusing on the study of business cycles and economic indicators.

"Phil Cross brings to the Institute the expertise gleaned over a distinguished, 35-year career at Statistic Canada," said Finn Poschmann, the Institute's Vice President, Research. "His work is top-notch, and has a strong profile among business and policy leaders."
