December 5, 2019 – William Robson, President and CEO of the C.D. Howe Institute, announces the re-appointment of Will Falk as a Senior Fellow.

“Will’s insights on technology and healthcare add considerable value to the work of Institute’s Health Policy Council,” said Robson. “We value his collaboration and look forward to working with him in the future.”

Will Falk has spent 25 years as a strategist and management consultant in New York and Toronto advising top academic centres, governments, and innovative companies in healthcare.  

Mr. Falk is an Adjunct Professor at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto where he teaches a course on innovation in healthcare. He is a frequent speaker and writer on health policy and innovation.  His interests at the C.D. Howe Institute include the impacts of technological change on health systems and their governance and payment mechanisms.  He works with several public and private enterprises on digital health and software development.

Will has had several formal and informal advisory roles within government including first ministers’ meetings, departmental reviews, expert panels and bargaining teams. His board experience has included the Children’s Aid Foundation, Home Capital, the William Osler Health System and the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences.  He currently serves on the Boards of the AMS Healthcare Foundation and the West Neighbourhood House.  He received his B.Sc. from the University of Toronto (Trinity College) and an M.P.P.M. from Yale University’s School of Management.
