From the time I was a student, through my years as Ontario Finance Minister, to the present day; the C.D. Howe Institute has been a thought leader on Canadian public policy. It is a real privilege to be associated with the Institute as it continues to advocate thoughtful debate, and solutions, to a range of society's most challenging issues.

Throughout my career, whether in the public or private sector, I have witnessed firsthand how influential and helpful C.D. Howe Institute research has been for senior leaders in government and business as they wrestle with current challenges.
