Canadian Capital Markets and the Future Of the Public Company
Policy Conference
Capital markets function much differently today than they did prior to the turn of the last century. Today’s markets are characterized by fewer IPOs, the growth of private markets and the rise of the activist shareholder, factors which are interrelated. This half-day, off-the-record conference explores changes in the composition of capital markets and the way in which they function, as well as implications for capital markets participants including corporations, shareholders and market intermediaries.
