David Mulroney, Former Ambassador of Canada to the People's Republic of China

Calgary AB, Traders Grill, Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel, 110 9th Avenue SE

Wednesday October 24, 2012 - Annual Calgary Dinner

Few people have had a more significant impact on Canada’s relationship with China than former Ambassador David Mulroney. Sino-Canadian relations are now on a progressive path with opportunities for growth. However, future relations are far from certain and will depend on a continuing effort to solidify the relationships. In one of his first speeches after he leaves his post, the former Ambassador discussed his candid thoughts on his tenure and projections for the trajectory of the bilateral relationship.

The C.D. Howe Institute gratefully acknowledges GE as the leading sponsor and Walton Global Investments Ltd. as a supporting sponsor of the Annual Calgary Dinner.
