The Global Economy & Rising Challenges to International Trade

Ottawa ON, MacDonald Room, Fairmont Château Laurier, 1 Rideau St

Roundtable Luncheon with Dan Ciuriak, Peter Hall, and Ross Hornby

Sponsored by:

Much is changing in the global economy – from Brexit to China’s slowing economy to growing popular dissatisfaction with the prevailing economic paradigm – leaving many wondering what to expect moving forward, particularly in view of the prominence of anti-globalization sentiment in the US election campaign rhetoric. With such uncertainty and many new challenges arising, it is necessary that we discuss current hurdles in international trade and how it will affect the Canadian economy.

We are happy to extend complimentary registration to C.D. Howe Institute members to this roundtable discussion in Ottawa. This event is now sold out, please contact events@cdhowe.org to be added to the wait list.

Please note the room change to the MacDonald Room at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier.
