Lagging Canadian Capital Investment: Prosperity at Risk

C.D. Howe Institute

Roundtable Luncheon with Craig Alexander, James W. Hinton and William Robson

Sponsored by:

Our panelists will debate how reduced capital investment has limited Canadian workers’ ability to increase production, earn higher wages and undermine competitiveness. How do we compare to the United States and OECD and which sectors are in need of a boost, and which ones can we build upon? Which policies should be implemented to increase capital investment around the country, fueling growth, investments and prosperity?
