September 28, 2015 – William Robson, President and CEO of the C.D. Howe Institute, announces the appointment of Adam Found as the Institute’s Metropolitan Policy Fellow and his re-appointment as a Fellow-in-Residence.

"Adam has unique expertise in municipal finance, notably when it comes to the impact of property and other taxes on investment decisions,” said Robson. “He has significantly advanced our work on local government tax competitiveness, and we look forward to his continued participation in the Institute's research.”

Adam is a Course Instructor of Economics at Trent University and holds the position of Manager of Corporate Assets at the City of Kawartha Lakes. His most recent Institute publication, co-authored with Benjamin Dachis and Peter Tomlinson, is entitled “The 2014 C.D. Howe Institute Business Tax Burden Ranking.”

Adam received his Ph.D. in economics in June 2014 from the University of Toronto, where he specialized in public finance and industrial organization.
