October 5, 2015 – William Robson, President and CEO of the C.D. Howe Institute, announces the re-appointment of Frank Milne, BMO Professor of Economics and Finance at Queen’s University, as a Research Fellow

“Frank is an accomplished economist with many practical insights about the financial industry and financial services policy,” stated Robson. “We are glad to have his continued collaboration.”

Dr. Milne has been the BMO Professor of Economics and Finance at Queen’s University since June 2000 and is Director of the Risk Policy and Regulation program in the Queen's Economics Department. His most recent Institute research paper is entitled “Anatomy of the Credit Crisis: The Role of Faulty Risk Management Systems.”

He has been a visiting professor at the University of Rochester, University of Auckland, Exeter University, University of Canterbury, University of Melbourne, New York University, University of Birmingham, and University of Heidelberg. He was also a special Advisor to the Bank of Canada.

He received his PhD from the Australian National University.
