August 18, 2015 – Hugh L. MacKinnon, Chairman and CEO, Bennett Jones LLP, and Chair, C.D. Howe Institute Board of Directors, announces the election of Jonathan Tétrault to the Board.

“We are very pleased to welcome Jonathan to the Board,” stated MacKinnon. “He is an outstanding strategist and will bring much to the discussion.”

Jonathan is the leader of McKinsey’s Montréal location. He is one of the firm’s experts in institutional investing and also leads McKinsey’s North American Institutional Investment Practice. Over the years, Jonathan has served corporations, regulators, and government officials in more than 20 countries.

Before joining McKinsey, Jonathan practiced M&A law for 5 years at Borden Ladner Gervais, in Canada, and at Andersen, in France, where he advised corporations on M&A and financing.

He received a MBA from the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School, a LLB from the Université de Montréal, and a degree in international politics from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris.
