The long-term gift will be spread over six years and go towards strengthening the Institute’s core capacity for policy impact through research and engagement.

November 10, 2015 – William Robson, President and CEO, and Duncan Munn, Senior Vice President and COO, C.D. Howe Institute, gratefully acknowledge The Petman Foundation for a long-term financial gift of $150,000 to the Institute, which will provide stable support to the Institute’s core activities.

“Rick Howson, Petman’ CEO, is an outstanding supporter of the Institute,” remarked Robson. “He understands that good policy does not happen by accident. It requires smart, authoritative research.” Munn added: “We are very grateful for this financial gift, as it will enable the Institute to respond confidently to the major issues facing Canada.”

Mr. Howson is President of The Petman Foundation and is entering his fourth year as a member of the Institute. The long-term gift will be spread over six years and go towards strengthening the Institute’s core capacity for policy impact through research and engagement.
