Compared to pre-pandemic, current hospitalization rates for the top 10 diagnoses responsible for Canadian hospitalizations are little changed. Births and respiratory conditions are the exception. For the latter, the offsetting affects of COVID-19 and other respiratory illness rates during the pandemic have disappeared, with the overall rate for this condition having now rebounded to above pre-pandemic levels.
