Michael Van Alphen is Senior Vice-President, Group Retirement Services (GRS). He is responsible for leading Canada’s largest provider of workplace savings and retirement platforms. Under Michael’s strategic leadership, Group Retirement Services is responsible for developing and delivering a wide range of retirement income products and services to meet the diverse and evolving needs of Sun Life’s plan sponsors and plan members. Michael is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
