Summary

David Rawlings is Chief Executive Officer for JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Canada. He is based in Toronto and has responsibility for Global Banking, Markets, Payments and Asset & Wealth Management. He also leads the JPMC Canada Foundation, which focuses on philanthropic investments in inclusive growth, diversity and education across the country.

David is a member of the Business Council of Canada; is a board member of the Canadian Bankers Association, and is a member of CEO and the Young Presidents’ Organization. He serves on the boards of FreshBooks and Nature United, and the development committee of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. He is an executive sponsor of several J.P. Morgan business resource groups including Women on the Move, the Black Organization of Leadership and Development and PRIDE. He is a founding member of the Coalition of Innovation Leaders Against Racism, and previously served on the Board of Governors for the Bishop Strachan School and the Cabinet of the United Way Toronto and York Region.


Prior to his role in Canada, David worked for JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York. He started his career at Royal Bank of Canada in Toronto and worked at both Credit Suisse and Bear Stearns in New York.


David graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
