As Head of External Affairs, Devin and his team are responsible for collaborating with federal and provincial governments to develop legislative and regulatory frameworks that enhance Enbridge’s business competitiveness.
Devin has more than 25 years of experience in public policy and government affairs. Prior to joining Enbridge he was at Cenovus Energy for over 13 years as Vice President, Government Affairs, focusing on developing public policy to help unlock economic growth in Canada’s oil and gas sector while cost effectively bending the curve of emissions. Prior to joining Cenovus, he was a founding Partner and Vice-President of a successful policy and political consulting firm.
He started his career serving for nine years in various roles at Canada’s Parliament.
Devin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Calgary. He has served as a board member at the Alberta Chamber of Resources, the Northeast Capital Industrial Association and the Sir Winston Churchill Society of Calgary, a local nonprofit organization that sponsors high school debate and public speaking.
