Summary

Francesco Ducci is an Assistant Professor at Western University Faculty of Law. His research focuses on competition policy and economic analysis of law, with particular attention to platform competition. His work has appeared in leading antitrust journals and includes a monograph examining the interplay between competition policy and regulation in digital markets. In 2022, he received the Best Junior Paper Award from the Academic Society for Competition Law.  

Prior to joining Western, Francesco was a Hauser Global Fellow at New York University and a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute. He earned his SJD from the University of Toronto, where he was a Junior Fellow at Massey College. He also holds a law degree from the University of Bologna and was a visitor at King’s College London. Francesco currently serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Competition Law and Economics (Oxford University Press).
