Summary

Gherardo Caracciolo is a Fellow-in-Residence at the C.D. Howe Institute. In a previous role at the Institute as a Senior Policy Analyst, he has studied monetary, fiscal, and financial policies alongside the Central Bank’s communications. His research interests include macroeconomics, information economics as well as financial and monetary economics.

Gherardo is currently a Lecturer in Finance at Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor of Macroeconomics and Macroeconometrics in the Department of Economics at the University of Birmingham in the UK. He holds a PhD in Economics from University College London.
