Dr. Snoddon is a Professor of Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University. Her research focuses on Canadian fiscal federalism challenges relating to carbon pricing, climate change policy, equalization, and intergovernmental grants and has been published in various outlets including the Canadian Tax Journal, Canadian Public Policy, the C.D. Howe Institute and Policy Options. Career highlights include receiving the Vanderkamp Prize for best article in Canadian Public Policy in 2019, along with co-author Trevor Tombe, serving a five-year stint as Director of the Master of International Public Policy program at the Balsillie School of International Affairs between 2006 and 2014, and receiving the 2023 Donald F. Morgenson Faculty Award for Sustained Teaching Excellence at Laurier.
