January 23, 2025 – William Robson, CEO of the C.D. Howe Institute, is pleased to announce the re-appointment of Mikal Skuterud as a Fellow-in-Residence.
Dr. Skuterud is a professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Waterloo, Director of the Canadian Labour Economics Forum, and a member of the C.D. “Mikal’s expertise is critical for the Institute and our Human Capital Policy Council as we address Canada’s challenges in skills, employment and immigration,” said Robson. “We are delighted to continue our collaboration with him.”
"I am thankful for the opportunity to continue my affiliation with the C.D. Howe Institute,” said Skuterud. “The Institute plays a vital role in producing rigorous, non-partisan, evidence-based research on the most pressing economic issues facing Canada.
