Ramya joined the C.D. Howe Institute in 2015 as a researcher. She holds an MA in Economics from McGill University and an MSc in Media and Communications from the LSE. Her research interests focus on trade and financial services, as well as health and labour market policy. Her publications include Opening up New Trade Routes for Financial Services: Canada's Priorities, Precarious Positions: Policy Options to Mitigate Risks in Non-standard Employment and In Need of a Booster: How to Improve Childhood Vaccination Coverage in Canada.
